Our philosophy of business is based on Permaculture Principles. You may have heard of permaculture and you probably think it has to do with gardening and growing food. Permaculture is so much more than that; it's a design system. You can apply permaculture thinking to all aspects of life on this planet because it literally means Permanent + Culture. In other words; how do we design our world in thoughtful and resilient ways, in order to use less energy and resources to gain a higher quality of life?

Many people have had practice applying permaculture design to business in all sorts of diverse ways. Being a design system based on cooperation there are plenty of resources available for understanding the design system and how it applies to business. Applying the Design Principles in Business by Rob Hopkins from the Transition Network is an excellent primer.

Here at Ground Up Creative, we see our role as your Strategic Marketing Plan Mentor. We don't want to do your social media work for you, rather, we want to help you decide what tools will work best for you and learn how to use them. So our focus is on helping you come up with a really clear plan on how you want your business to grow, figuring out who your target market is and designing a strategic plan to communicate with that market in an efficient and cost-effective way.

Most importantly, we will help you understand the importance of collaboration and relationships. Nature doesn't operate as a single, individual entity, and neither should we. In fact, the more we collaborate and share with those around us, the more we thrive.

We believe in digital freedom and where possible we avoid tools based on proprietary software that lock you into costly and prohibitive contracts.
